Why I started Airplanes.ro (Joc Avioane)

Every Romanian used to play Avioane (Airplanes) in class, during recess, or in between recess. There used to be a place to play it online, on doizece.ro/avioane but Neogen bought Doizece and stopped supporting Avioane. (damn you Neogen) - the original creators of Doizece.ro, vivi (his blog is at http://vivi.ro) and irina (Don't know where she is now) did an amazing job with the website. I was there almost from the beginning, in 2005, and witnessed the amazing growth of Doizece.

I used to be a champion at this game back in 2006. I used to organize our monthly tournament called "Liga de Avioane".

I also happen to be a programmer. Not having a place to play Avioane multiplayer is a sacrilegy! Airplanes.ro is my weekend project but I need a better online presence to grow my user base in order to bring our Liga de Avioane back. So far I made:
